Adolescence and young adulthood can be a hard time filled with so many different kinds of stressors and opportunities. Social media, bullying, academics, body image issues, identity development, drug/alcohol use, and family dynamics are just a few of the stressors you may be dealing with. It’s become harder than ever to figure out who your real friends are versus who likes you for the “perfect profile” you’ve created online. Attempts to find meaningful and fulfilling relationships often leads to painful endings where feelings of rejection, emptiness and failure are common. Maybe you receive mixed messages about who you should be….”be beautiful” “be independent” “be unique” or the journey to find your passion or career is based on others expectations.

It's also a time of many "firsts" for you, which can be exciting, overwhelming and stressful all at the same time. This stage in life is full of possibilities for adventure, self-discovery and exploration. You may be moving away to college, settling into a new job, exploring your sexuality, starting new relationships and figuring out who you want to be.  So much change can bring up lots of feelings for you. At bareWell we work to build a comfortable, secure space and collaborative relationship where you can safely explore and begin to better understand your thoughts, feelings, behaviors and relationships. We can help you learn necessary skills for problem-solving, decision making and to better understand your passions and life goals. We look forward to helping you during this critical time in your life!

Let us help you tune out the noise and tune into yourself…
